Many of us shifted our perspective on what we want for our future, what we want our careers to be, where we want to live, and how is our health. And how can we improve it?
It's evident that the healthcare system in the U.S. profits off of sickness. I'm not anti-medicine, but not everyone needs medication. There's not one medical product or procedure that is meant for everyone.
We're all different and it's our responsibility to take control of our lives and our health.
Taking your power back during these times is the ultimate form of liberation. Freedom isn't selfish. It's imperative.
What does taking your power back look like?
💎 Implementing your own remedies that make you feel good
💎 Speaking up/ asking your healthcare provider questions
💎 Not being afraid of being misunderstood or disliked
💎 Breaking out of your comfort zone
💎Challenge old beliefs and thoughts
💎Recoginize that change is inevitable, and change comes with growth
💎 Finding a community of like-minded people for support
What have I done to take my power back?
💎Asked tough questions even when I had no one on my side
💎 Stood firm in my beliefs
💎 From victim to victor mindset. Instead of focusing on everything wrong, I adopt a problem-solving mindset
💎 Analyzed my environment and added new things to change what wasn't ideal anymore
💎 Stop taking/ asking advice from people who aren't where I want to be
💎 Put more effort & time into my own goals and dreams
💎 Setting firm boundaries
💎Not being afraid to speak my truth
2020 made it clear to me that change is a constant part of life and you have to be able to stand on your own two feet whenever something happens.
Learn new ways of living to break free from systems and truly be self-sufficient.
