Texture, form, shapes, and colors are the main elements of focus when it comes to Bejide's paintings. As a New York City native, the ferocious fast-paced environment and culture inspire her to think outside the box with new painting methods and to use both neutral and vivid colors and bigger canvases, starting at 16x24. She is a contemporary abstract painter, mainly using acrylic, fluid inks, gouache, paint pouring methods, and even mop heads to create paintings with a modern vibe. She creates paintings that are built on the themes of freedom, minimalism, and simplicity.
